Lift Cord Restring for Horizontal Blinds and Cellular Shades
Our most common repair! All blinds and shades of traditional design have lift cords. They run through the punch holes on most blinds, and are inside of the pleats on most shades. These cords provide raise and lower operation for the whole blind. When one or more of these cords breaks the lift function of the blind will no longer work properly. Often times one side will go up but one side will not. On shades we always recommend restringing all cords in the shade (usually between 2 and 4 per shade).
Other related repairs we offer include restringing vertical blinds, restringing broken ladder string on horizontal blinds, and restringing or repairing tension cords in vertical cellular shades such as Hunter Douglas Vertiglide.
